Did I Just Hear That?

These are some lyrics I have misheard over the years (honestly). They may not make sense in print, but if you listen to the song you'll hear how I made these mistakes . . .

Tom Jones, Sex Bomb

What I heard:
"Infrared seamen moves through the night"

The real lyrics:
“Infrared to see me move through the night”

No Doubt, Spiderwebs

What I heard:
“And it's all your fault
I scream my balls off
No matter who calls
I gotta scream my balls off”

The real lyrics:
“And it's all your fault
I screen my phone calls
No matter who calls
I gotta screen my phone calls”

The Cramps, Goo goo muck (I knew this one wasn't real, but I grew up near Oshawa, Ontario and every time I heard this song I did a double take)

What I heard:
"You better duck, in Oshawa, the goo-goo muck."

The real lyrics:
"You better duck, when I show up, the goo-goo muck."

The Cars, Just What I Needed

What I heard:
"It's not the perfume that you wear
It's island rhythms in your hair"

The real lyrics:
"It's not the perfume that you wear
It's not the ribbons in your hair"
